I hadn’t backed up my little eee pc in a while and, consequently, forgot how I did it.
Here’s my reminder…
I go to the File Manager, and select “Tools: Mount Network Share”
\\FREENAS\WesternDigital500GB and mount it to:
/home/usr/FreenasShare
(sometimes I can’t connect to the network in ‘desktop mode’. I have better luck in ‘easy mode’. Then I can go back to ‘desktop mode’.)
Then I open up a Terminal window (ctr alt T in Basic view) and type;
sudo ./rsync-local.sh
That runs a script I have that rysync’s to the network share I just mounted.
