I want to say that I’ve worked with a couple ATF agents over the years and they have always been super cool.
Every once in a while you will need to do an audit of your books and inventory. They are random and anxiety producing. But that’s just because you are dealing with the government and guns. It’s a naturally stressful situation.
I had this really cool conversation with an ATF agent at one of these. I asked him what he thought was the answer to school shootings. He pretty much said there was no answer. I asked about metal detectors and police. We didn’t do that then. He said all it would take is one false fire alarm and a school shooter could just pick off people as they come out of the building.
It’s a really terrible situation. We have pretty much concluded that we will do absolutely nothing to try to alleviate our assassinations. No enforcing existing laws. No mental health focus. Nothing. Whether you are a 7 year old or a president of the United States, nothing will change with guns in America today.
I primarily got my license to buy and sell guns off the streets of Akron. I did it a little. But I didn’t do too much of it. I rarely bought and sold any guns.
I believe in the Second Amendment as much as I believe in the First. That’s simply because I don’t trust or believe in our politicians. They are slimly terrible cowardly people, as a collective. So, I don’t like stronger gun laws. But there is still plenty we can do. We do nothing.
At any rate, here is the official termination document I just signed today.
I let it lapse before and got it back. I probably won’t do it again. There is a big reason for that that I’m not going to disclose on this post. But I should be able to talk more about it in the new couple weeks.
