I am never disappointed in seeing how completely ignorant homeless service providers are to who homeless people are, what they value and who they trust.
You can't put out a bowl of food and whistle for a human being to just dutifully show up. They are just as smart as you. They are just as aware as you. They know full well nothing is free in this world. They may not know how they are going to have to pay for that bed. But they know for damn sure, one way or another they will pay for that bed.
