Stay-cation

This used to be billed as the dark, fucked-up side of my message. It’s not that anymore. It’s just me now. There is no difference anymore.

So, everyday my kid’s preschool has circle time and then writes down what each kid said.

This is the opening today:

T: This morning, Indy, you wanted to know if we knew what something was.

Indy: Do you know what a stay-cation is? We have candy, we watch TV up in the TV room. We watch shows up there, and there is candy and balloons. We move our beds up there.

T: How long will they be there?

Indy: Forever.

Forever. I’m loving that idea.

This is our Thanksgiving weekend fun we’re planning. It might not be forever. But at least it will be for a few days.
