The city is furious with me (again). They want to have an emergency meeting with the magistrate because “Sage is putting tents back on his land.”
I’m not doing shit. This is what Akron policies look like.
They wanted me to get rid of all the tents on my land. So I did. Then people moved somewhere else and they bulldozed all those tents.
Now the human being in the tent shown here has just gotten out of jail. He hadn’t heard about the great human eradication program that occurred while he was away and so he put a tent up on my land.
And so now they’re back taking pictures accusing me of “not following the law.”
WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK IS GOING TO HAPPEN?
So now I’m going to start putting up my own signs.
In this twisted city I have now become the arm of humanitarian evil. But that’s how the “Law” works. They can fine me endlessly, incarcerate me, steal my land. They can do anything they want. They have a piece of paper that says “no tents.”
I one plan. Plan A.
I somehow against all odds am going to win the mayoral primary. And we are going to start turning this godforsaken city around. We’re going to start at the bottom and dig our way out of this mess.
Making me remove tents off of my land in the name of the law isn’t doing ONE GODDAMN THING to fix homelessness. Yet that’s their entire homeless solution (as they spend $25 million of ARPA money on parks.)
