In Akron you must always remember the saying: Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Summit County Democrats have so much power and so little counter balance they are now turning on themselves.
There are currently sending out vindictive letters about 3 Democrats that the party has determined are not Democrats at all.
What they mean is: These 3 people are not bowing down enough. They are not kissing the ring enough. They are not doing exactly as they are told.
Therefore, by the absolute power vested in them they have determined these 3 candidates are now shunned from the Democratic party.
The party is currently sending out letters to the Wards of those 3 candidates telling those voters that these candidates are not Democrats and they should not vote for them.
The definition of being a Democrat is this: "Someone who believes in equality for all people and ruling by the majority."
When a few people get together and then use their power to coerce voters to do their bidding it is THEY that are no longer upholding Democratic values.
The Summit County Democrats are dangerous, megalomaniacal and must be disavowed by any true Democrat. And I say this as a life long voter of Democrats.
I know for a fact that Bruce Kilby and Zack Milkovich represent Democratic principles. I see them both standing up for the people every day.
I don't personally know Bob Hoch. But based on the power drunk Summit County Democrats I can guess that he is probably staying more true to his constituents than the party.
This is what this is all about: the Summit County Democrats, who already have too much power, are butt hurt because these 3 people haven't sucked up to them enough. That's all this is.
