Caring What Others Think Of Me

This used to be billed as the dark, fucked-up side of my message. It’s not that anymore. It’s just me now. There is no difference anymore.

This one’s a total drag. When it gets me in it’s grips it really yanks down my quality of life. I just feel rotten. And then it taints everything else in my life. Everything else is not nearly as good.

I’ve got to make this priority #1.

What are the symptoms:

  • I feel it in my stomach – like a rock or pit.
  • I obsess about it.
  • I’m afraid.
  • I’m angry.
  • It sucks all of my energy. I’m instantly tired.

What can I do about it:

  • Find some books on the topic.
  • Research it on the internet and catalogue it in my del.icio.us tags as: confidence
  • Study: “Feel the fear and do it anyway” book.

Alright, I’m on it.

This used to be billed as the dark, fucked-up side of my message. It’s not that anymore. It’s just me now. There is no difference anymore.

  1. Here’s my favorite quote on the subject:

?Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.?
