I started general research over here:
http://autos.yahoo.com/
I liked this site because it gave me a rough estimate of cost over a series of years all at once.
I also got interested in some other vehicles while I was doing it.
So far, my research reveals that there is a major jump in pricing from being brand new to being a year old. I guess I’ve known that. But I’ve never really seen it across multiple cars all at once. But then I noticed that it appears almost all 10 year old cars cost the same.

Add in the Nissan Quest. I saw the new one at the Auto Show and was impressed.
I drive a Honda Odessey, my second. Nice van.
To All our Concerned Friends:
Alas, it is happening. We’re “Looking into” vehicles that store and haul shit. Kid shit, house shit, work shit, pet shit (we may again someday have a pet, really). And then, when you go down that road you inevitably answer these questions:
“Are we SUV, gas guzzling people?” No.
“Will we really use the Cowboy Cadillac extended cab truck as the ‘down to earth’ people with cash intended?” No.
“Can we afford the posh designer station wagons — created specifically by foreign car companies for people like us that want to haul shit but fear the mini-van and loathe the SUV?” Not quite without stretching the budget.
And, so, here we are. “Researching” Mini-vans. Ones with side curtain air bags. Pity us. Judge us. We’re too buried in our sad lives to even feel shame.
Thanks Pho.
I’ll definitely check it out.
