But then I got to thinking: what does the Clerk of Courts know about creating jobs? I'm sure he oversaw people that had jobs. That's cool.
But that's not creating jobs.
When I read that tweet I thought: "Hey! That's what I do."
I create jobs.
There was a time I was over at a local company our firm did marketing for. They asked if they could show us something. They walked us to a brand new building. They told us that our company was responsible for building that building and employing all the people in it.
Do you know how you grow a business which leads to more jobs? Sales and marketing. That's it.
That's what I have dedicated most of my adult life to.
And for what it's worth, I've written a book on online marketing and have spoken all over the country on the topic. Not to mention running marketing programs all over the world, of all sizes of complexity and budget.
I'm proud to say I've always been considered a thought leader in online marketing by peers in my industry.
I know how to build and grow businesses in the 21st century.

This is how you get more jobs.
As this foundation gets set we will be able to present ourselves as the premier Midwest city for startups.
