Wait! What? You already met the goal???

Am I reading that right?

Did you guys already, like in one day, meet the goal for the “No Feet Left Behind” campaign?

I came in this morning thinking about how I was going to inspire you all to donate to the cause.

But it turns out you already did it!

You are AWESOME!!!!

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!

Now, about the socks…

I’m not a sock expert. I wear black gold toe socks. I’m also not homeless. But I do camp. And my gold toe socks are not ideal for that.

There were some socks on Amazon, Hanes Men’s Crew Socks. They are $10 for 10 pair. But people say they’re not as good as they used to be. I guess they’re thin.

These socks at Sam’s Club, Burlington Men’s 10 Pair Pack Comfort Power Crew Sport Sock, get good reviews. Thick and warm, they say. They’re $12 for 10.

I think I’m going to try those and see what happens. I just ordered them online:

Checkout Order Confirmation

(I got an extra set because my mom wanted me to pick up some for her too.)

Once I get them, I’ll try to record the whole process so you can see how it goes.

I’m not sure how you donators will feel about being publicly thanked. So I’m just going to do it anyway:

Daniel Powers: $25. You rock, Daniel. THANK YOU!!!

Marcia “Got Shirts” Marshall: $15. The amount of support you have given me is off the hook. I can’t believe how amazing you are. THANK YOU!!!

Colleen Foster: $30. Not only has Colleen donated here. But she also has donated the ENTIRE coffee setup at our weekly small business marketing meetup. Thank you SOOO much Colleen.

There was also an anonymous $25. Thank you invisible person.

And I donated $5.

So that makes $100 in 1 day. AMAZING!

I have 100 pairs of socks coming. I’m trying to think of some nice way to give them to these people. I’d like to wrap them up or something. If you have any ideas let me know in the comments below.

I’ll video the whole journey. So keep an eye out for that.

If you’d like to donate to this cause it’s not too late. You can do that here:

The more money we get, the more socks we can get.

But you should know that you all have already blown me away with your generosity. I can’t thank you enough.
